The island of Yeu
The Ile d’Yeu is full of exceptional sites, a rich heritage and preserved natural areas to discover on foot or by bike. Its very active fishing port animates the quays of Port-Joinville, with its ballet of colorful fishing boats and its auction market. It is also the arrival point of the boats ensuring the crossing with the continent.
You can take a boat and go to the Ile d’yeu in about 30 min. at the pier of Fromentine – La Barre de Monts for the Ile d’Yeu at only 10 km from the campsite le Petit Bois.

The island of Noirmoutier
Nicknamed “the island of mimosas” for its mild climate that allows mimosas to bloom in winter, is a territory with multiple facets with its landscapes of salt marshes, dunes, forests, sandy beaches and its whitewashed houses covered with pink tiles.
Noirmoutier can be reached by a bridge or by the Passage du Gois, a submersible road that is uncovered at low tide.
The entrance to Noirmoutier by the bridge is only 10km from the campsite. A beautiful day of discovery in perspective.
