For your stay at the campsite, we offer you a cultural day. You will see! The 2 following proposals will bring you a beautiful knowledge of our department but without ever a point of boredom.

These Vendée structures have managed to combine cultural interest without ever forgetting the fun and entertainment side.

Visit n°1 : the Logis de la Chabotterie

A typical Bas-Poitou residence bought in 1993 by the Conseil Général de la Vendée, entirely restored and furnished as it was during the French Revolution! A real dive into the past and into the history of General de Charette, a key figure of this period.

The visit of the remarkably reconstructed dwelling takes us back into the history of the Vendée, but in a living way as if the house was still inhabited. An interactive space sets the historical context. The gardens have also been reorganized according to the original plans.
For an even more realistic immersion, you can sign up for the Escape Game “Charette and the forgotten treasure”!
Numerous and varied activities take place all year round, ask about the program.

For the music lovers, end the day in beauty thanks to the concerts organized “Musiques au Logis”.

A picnic area has been set up for your relaxation break.

Visit n°2 : The Historial of the Vendée

An innovative museum that will appeal to young and old alike!

More than 7000 years of history retraced in an original and never boring museum. There is something for every taste and age. Children’s tours will allow you to discover the museum in a different way through interactive games and tours with tablets.
The children’s museum of nearly 300 m² with Gaspard the duck, the museum’s mascot, will allow them to learn all about the sea!

You can easily spend the day at the Historial. A lunch break is facilitated by the Historial café where you can spend a convivial moment at any time and enjoy the breathtaking view of the park with your family. You can also enjoy picnic areas and even fishing areas…

This day is sure to please young and old alike!

And then, back to the campsite pool for a well-deserved dip !!!!
